Daring to rise up for youth mental health
In 2027, we’ll be taking a huge leap out of our comfort zones with a skydive to raise money for A Lust For Life — all in memory of our beautiful cousin and friend, Josh Lee O’Connell, who sadly passed away in April this year and our amazing friend Sarah Lee Desmond who passed away in July .
Life can change in an instant. Over the past few weeks myself ,my family and ny friends have faced challenges we never expected.
This country is facing a very serious youth mental health crisis with 1 in 5 primary school children already struggling with anxiety and other challenges.
By doing this skydive along with other fundraisers throughout the year we hope to help raise awareness and vital funds for young people who may be struggling in silence. Mental health challenges affect so many children and teenagers today, and every young person deserves the support, tools and encouragement to look after their wellbeing before reaching crisis point.
A Lust For Life is doing incredible work to provide children and young people across Ireland with early mental health education and support. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help make a real difference and means so much to all of us.

Quiz night ✨💛
Saturday 1st AugWhat an incredible night! We are absolutely blown away by the support we received at our charity pub quiz last night in Flannerys bar and lounge.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, bought raffle tickets, donated, and supported us throughout the evening, we raised an amazing €1,226! 🎉
We also want to say a huge thank you to all of our fantastic sponsors especially flannerys ,who kindly donated prizes and helped make the night such a success. Your generosity means more than we can say, and we truly couldn’t have done it without you.
Seeing our community come together in memory of Josh and in support of A Lust for Life has been so special. Every euro raised will help support mental health awareness and suicide prevention, and knowing so many people got behind this cause means the world to us.
