Rising up for youth mental health education
I’m rising up for youth mental health education by walking 150km with Charlie this month. With all the neuroscience and psychology knowledge out there, I believe that every child and young person deserves to be empowered with age appropriate insights into how their brain works, be practiced at nurturing it, and comfortable seeking appropriate support. We have PE, why not ME?...and it would be a lot more useful to most people than algebra! The positive effects on individuals and society would be endless.
In an increasingly complex world, where 1 in 5 primary school children in Ireland are already struggling with anxiety and other mental health challenges, A Lust for Life is working to provide this much needed early preventative mental health education in every school in Ireland for free. Your donation will help them reach more children, better more lives and prevent more crises.
