I'm lacing up for A Lust for Life!

Estimados amigos y familiares, tras descubrir la necesidad de cuidar mi propia salud mental decidí ¡cambiar de estilo de vida!

Mi querida Irlanda no solo me salvó del desastre, sino que también me está ayudando día a día en ello. Pero antes debí de aprender a buscar el equilibrio entre "Querer" y "Creer".

Así fue como St. Bridget a través de la magia, me sugirió que uno de los pasos a seguir consistía en hacer alguna gesta para ayudar a los demás. Entonces apliqué una de las enseñanzas de mi adorada Reina de la Hadas y decidí correr para recaudar fondos para una organización irlandesa "A Lust for Life" que trabaja para mejorar la salud mental en la infancia.

Decidí hacerlo porque, como fiel creyente del poder la educación y el amor que siento por ser maestro, creo que la educación en salud mental es un derecho, no un privilegio, y que todos los jóvenes merecen las herramientas para cuidar de su salud mental y desarrollar resiliencia para la vida.

Por ello, durante este octubre del 2025 correré como un pequeño zorrin 150 km a través de emblemáticos lugares y maravillosos bosques, disfrutando de su poder de sanación y persiguiendo sueños, mientras siento el poder de seres fantásticos que me inspiren y me alienten para que la savia de su mágica existencia impregne toda mi alma con coraje, ilusión, fe y esperanza.

Todo lo que recaude serán fondos esenciales y destinados íntegramente para apoyar los proyectos y programas que podéis consultar en la página web de la organización, dónde se muestra cómo se trabaja arduamente para empoderar a la próxima generación para que cuide de sí misma y de los demás.

No será fácil, pero cada kilómetro y cada donación marcarán una gran diferencia. Por ello, quiero agradecer a quienes me han mostrado tan digno camino y a todos aquellos que con vuestra buena voluntad me ayudéis a lograr mi objetivo solidario.

Dear friends and family, after discovering the need to take care of my own mental health, I decided to change my lifestyle!

My beloved Ireland not only saved me from disaster but is also helping me with it every day. But first, I had to learn to find the balance between "Wanting" and "Believing."

That's how St. Bridget, through magic, suggested that one of the steps I should take was to do something to help others. So, I applied one of the teachings of my beloved Queen of the Fairies and decided to run to raise funds for an Irish organization, "A Lust for Life" that works to improve childhood mental health.

I decided to do it because, as a true believer in the power of education and because of my love for being a teacher, I believe that mental health education is a right, not a privilege, and that all young people deserve the tools to take care of their mental health and develop resilience for life.

Therefore, this October 2025, I will run as a little fox 150 km through iconic places and wonderful forests, enjoying their healing power and pursuing dreams, while feeling the power of fantastic beings who inspire and encourage me so that the sap of their magical existence permeates my entire soul with courage, enthusiasm, faith, and hope.

All the funds I raise will be essential funds and will be used entirely to support the projects and programs that you can consult on the organization's website, which shows how hard they work to empower the next generation to take care of themselves and others.

It won't be easy, but every kilometer and every donation will make a huge difference. Therefore, I want to thank those who have shown me such a worthy path and all those who, with your goodwill, will help me achieve my charitable goal.
