Daring to rise up for youth mental health
Hi everyone, I’m Jason Williamson, an endurance athlete, aviation entrepreneur and someone who believes deeply in the power of movement to support mental health.
On August 7th, 2025, I’ll be marking my 50th birthday by taking on the biggest challenge of my life: running across Australia from coast to coast, more than 4,000km through intense heat and vast, remote landscapes, to raise awareness and funds for A Lust for Life, an incredible Irish charity dedicated to mental health and well-being.
In 2023, I set the fastest known time for running The Ireland Way. That journey taught me a lot about both physical and mental resilience.
With this run, I hope to spark conversations, break stigma and remind people that no one has to face mental health challenges alone.
