I'm lacing up for A Lust for Life! 💛
This October, I’m taking on the challenge of running 150km for A Lust for Life’s youth mental health education programmes.
I chose this because I truly believe mental health education is invaluable. The early, developmental years are when so much of a child’s understanding of themselves and the world is shaped. Teaching them how to recognise and talk about their emotions, and how to cope with and overcome life’s inevitable obstacles, can change the course of their future.
I’ve learned how powerful it can be when these tools are taught early — before intervention is needed.
Every kilometre and every donation — even the cost of a coffee ☕️ — helps to give the next generation the skills and confidence to mind themselves and each other.
